The Alesis Strike Pro SE, and the Roland TD-17KV are quite different e-drum kits. If you do plan to use your e-drum kit on live performances then you might want to lean a bit towards the Alesis Strike Pro SE. The Alesis Strike Pro Special Edition is a better value e-drum kit overall. It has more features, a full-sized drum kick and the drum module has more sounds and kits build-in. It also has better stage presence. The Roland TD-17KV on the other hand has a very good build quality and great triggering.
